US-Canada Equivalency Agreement

The U.S. has an equivalence arrangement with Canada. This means that as long as the terms of the arrangement are met, organic operations certified to the USDA organic or Canada Organic Regime standards may be labeled and sold as organic in both countries.

US-European Union Equivalency Agreement

The U.S. has an equivalence arrangement with the European Union (EU). This means that as long as the terms of the arrangement are met, organic operations certified to the USDA organic or EU organic standards may be labeled and sold as organic in both countries.

US-Taiwan Trade Relationship

The U.S. has an export trade relationship with Taiwan. This arrangement allows USDA organic products to be sold as organic in Taiwan.

US-Japan Equivalence Arrangement

The U.S. has an organic equivalence arrangement with Japan. This means that, as long as the terms of the arrangement are met, certified organic operations in Japan or in the U.S. may sell their products as organic in either country.

US-Switzerland Equivalency Agreement

The U.S. has an organic equivalency arrangement with Switzerland. This means that as long as the terms of the arrangement are met, organic products certified to the USDA organic regulations or the Swiss organic ordinances may be labeled and sold as organic in both countries.
